Why hello there! I’m Sarah K and I am your guide to deep rest and rejuvenation using powerful embodiment meditations. I hold the belief that if we don’t access our Yin quiet states often enough, the Yang, doing of life will disrupt our internal and external balance. We burn out, we stress out and life is not a pleasant experience (nor are we very pleasant to be around!).
In order to get the most out of this series, I'd recommend you set the time aside in your diary to do one meditation a day, in order, either first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Committing to 10 days straight might feel like a stretch but I assure you that after a few days you will start to feel like you have more energy and more time in the day to accomplish all you need to.
If you’d like to really get the most of the meditation series, set yourself the goal of moving through the meditations in sequential order. A consistent 10 day practice will help you truly unwind, creating a beautiful new habit. You are so worth it, and I can guarantee you will really experience a profound shift.
Or of course you are welcome to select any of the meditations depending on what you need for the day. Use your intuition to choose the meditation that you would like to do. Each of them are quite powerful, whilst subtle, and you will still feel the effects in your day.
Ideally, you’ll meditate sitting up with your spine gently (not forced!) straight. Lying down means you’ll most likely fall asleep and whilst your subconscious will get the benefits of the meditation processes, you’ll feel less drowsy afterwards if you don’t drop off into a snooze!
And for those that feel they aren’t good with visualisations, that’s all good too. You’ll be surprised how much you take in without ‘seeing’ anything. Just trust that your body is absorbing the goodness in every word. Over time, you’ll see the results in your external world too.
Here’s my guarantee : if you take the time to invest in balancing your energy and your body, you will experience a shift in perception as well as a tangible shift in your energy. The impact that stress has on your body is immense and goodness knows we aren't meant to live lives of worry, anxiety and overwhelm. Life is here to be enjoyed and savoured.
